On Friday, December 29, 2023, District Attorney Jody Owens was sworn in for a second term of Office during a ceremony at the Hinds County Courthouse at Jackson.
“I am grateful for the overwhelming support of the voters of Hinds County,” DA Owens said following the ceremony. “I look forward to continuing to serve all the citizens of Hinds County as we work to build safer communities for our families.”
