May 13, 2025
On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, law enforcement leaders from across Central Mississippi gathered in Jackson for the annual Top Cops Luncheon, a longstanding event where agencies come together to recognize officers, deputies, and agents who have demonstrated exceptional service throughout the year.
Among the honorees, Hinds County District Attorney’s Office Investigator Willie A. Sanders was named a 2025 Top Cop in recognition of his dedication to public safety and
leadership within the community. The Hinds County District Attorney’s Office was proud to celebrate his achievement and to join colleagues from across the region in acknowledging his service.
The Top Cops Luncheon provides an opportunity for law enforcement professionals to honor one another, share in each other’s successes, and reinforce the partnerships that strengthen public safety throughout Hinds County and beyond. Recognitions like this highlight the often-unseen commitment of law enforcement leaders who work each day to build safer, more resilient communities.
The District Attorney’s Office remains grateful for its ongoing collaboration with law enforcement and for the service of all those recognized at this year’s luncheon.
