Suspect in Fatal Shooting Found Guilty of Murder March 14, 2025 (Jackson, MS) Hinds County District Attorney Jody E. Owens, II, announced today that a jury has found Isaac Griffin guilty of manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of 46-year-old Kenneth Beals. On July 17, 2022, Jackson Police officers responded to a reported shooting at 2318 Ludlow Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered the deceased body of Beals at the front door, covered by a blanket.
