Owens, II, announces on July 31, 2024, Dominique Champion pled guilty during trial to second degree murder and drive- by-shooting in the death of 46-year-old Robert Earl McGowan, Jr. On June 10, 2021, JPD officers were called to the scene at a local eatery near the intersection of Ellis Avenue and Robinson Road.
