On December 15, 2025, the Hinds County District Attorney’s Office partnered with Mississippi Blood Services to host a community blood drive centered on service, compassion, and saving lives.
Blood donations play a critical role in emergency care, trauma response, and ongoing medical treatment across Mississippi. During the holiday season, when donations often decline, the need for a reliable blood supply becomes even more urgent. This blood drive provided an opportunity for staff and community members to step forward and help meet that need in a direct and meaningful way.
By hosting the blood drive, the District Attorney’s Office reinforced its commitment to serving the community beyond the courtroom. The partnership with Mississippi Blood Services helped support hospitals and patients throughout the state, ensuring that lifesaving resources remained available for those facing medical emergencies and ongoing care.
